AILET Eligibility
For B.A LL.B(Hons) - Five Years Programme
Educational Qualification:
The asprining candidate should be at least 10+2 with not less than 50%. However candidates who are appearing in the +2 exam in March/April of the respective appear are also eligible to apply.
Note:- Foreign Nationals to be eligible should have 65% marks in the qualifying examination.
Age:
Candidates must be below 21 Years(23 years for SC/ST) as on 1st July of the respective year of admission.
For LL.M Programme
Educational Qualification:
LL.B or Equivalent Degree with 55% makrs (50% in case of SC/ST/persons of Diability). The candidates appearing in the final LL.B examination in Apr/May, 2017 can also apply.
Note: Foreign Nationals are exempted from the exam.
For Ph.D Programme

AILET Syllabus

AILET Pattern
All India Law Entrance Exam is multiple-choice based entrance exam, with negative marking for wrong answers. It will consists of 150 question of onemark each which have to be completed in 1 Hr: 30 Min's time.

AILET Exam Date
AILET is normally held in the month of April/May.
How to apply for AILET?
Interested candidates may
apply along with a Demand Draft of Rs.3,000 (Rupees Three Thousand only) for
General Candidates, Rs.1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) in case of SC,ST
and Person with Disability (PD) drawn in favour of “REGISTRAR, NATIONAL LAW
UNIVERSITY, DELHI", payable at Delhi alongwith copies of requisite
Caste/PD Certificate.
There is no application fee for Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST
category (copy of BPL certificate from competent authority to be enclosed
with application).

AILET Exam selection process
1. The candidate shall secure minimum of 40% (30% for SC and ST candidates) of the total marks in the AILET to become eligible for the admission. The University reserves the right to keep the seats vacant if there are no candidates who secured minimum cut off marks.
2. If two or more candidates secure the same percentage of marks in the AILET, their merit will be determined in the following manner and order;
o On the basis of Percentage of marks in the Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) / Higher Secondary School or its equivalent recognized by the University
o On the basis of Percentage of marks in the X standard
o Elder in age will be preferred
o Draw of Lots.
3. At least 30% of the total seats shall be filled by eligible horizontal reservation for women candidates including those selected in reserved and foreign national categories.
AILET Exam Fee
Application fee for AILET is Rs.3000 only. The Fee will be Rs.1000 only.
