Bank PO:- The word PO stands for “Probationary officer” in the banks and is the higher grade than a clerk. A P.O. starts as a trainee officer in the Junior Management Grade Service (JMGS) of the bank and can rise to the highest grades of the bank in his vacation turning into a General Manager, a Director or even the Chairman of the Bank. The Probationary Officer’s job is similar to a Manager Trainee position.
