CEED Eligibility 

Educational Qualification

Aspiring Candidates should have a

  • Bachelor Degree in (Engineering/ Architecture/ Design/ Interior Design) or equivalent.
  • Professional Diploma in Design (NID/ CEPT) or equivalent.
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) or equivalent.
  • G.D. Art with 01 year of post qualification Professional Experience
  • Master Degree in (Arts/ Science/ Computer Applications) or equivalent. 

 

CEED Syllabus

CEED will consist of questions from various relevant fields such as:

1.     Awareness of design

2.     General awareness

3.     Comprehension

4.     Reasoning psychological analysis

5.     Visual ability

6.     Lateral thinking

7.     Skill setting

 

CEED Pattern

CEED is held to assess the candidates’ aptitude for design involving visual perception ability, drawing skills, and logical reasoning, and creativity and communication skills.

The examination will consist of two parts, Part A and Part B. Candidates have to attempt questions from both the parts.

Part A contains three type of multiple choice (MCQ) type questions and answers to Part A have to be given as one of the choices in the computer itself. 

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ): Each MCQ type question has four choices out of which only one choice is the correct answer

Multiple Select Questions (MSQ): Each MSQ type question will also have four choices but there may be one or more than one choice(s) that are correct out of the given choices

Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions: For each NAT type question, the answer will be a signed real number which needs to be entered using the virtual keypad on the monitor. A virtual calculator will also be available on the computer monitor. No choices will be shown for these type of questions.

  • Multiple Select Questions (MSQ): Each MSQ type question will also have four choices but there may be one or more than one choice(s) that are correct out of the given choices.

Part B consists of design and hand drawing type questions. Answers to Part B have to be given in the answer book provided by the invigilator.

 

Note: Part A will be used as a screening test. Part B will be evaluated only for the candidates who get shortlisted from Part A. ONLY the scores from Part B will be used for preparing the list of qualified candidates (merit list) in CEED 2017. 

The language of the question paper will be English.

 

CEED Exam Dates
