LIC Exams Eligibility and Application Procedure
Insurance sector and especially LIC recruit candidates at various positions through exams widely advertised in national news papers. Exams for different Positions have different eligibility requirements depending upon the positions.
Generally Graduates from any discipline are eligible for the entry point officer cadre positions in Life Insurance Corporation and +2 for clerical level posts.
LIC Exams Pattern and Admission Process
This LIC Recruitment exam consists of following two steps selection process.
Step 1 consists of written Examination normally of 2 Hrs. Candidates will be called for an objective type examination. The objective type examination will consist of Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Aptitude and Test of General Awareness. Qualifiers of the Step 1 are put tostep 2 i. e. Group Discussion & Interview: Qualifying candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Interview and the shortlisted candidates from Step 2 will be considered for final selection to the designated post with in LIC.
Note: Candidates have to pass both in Step 1nd Step 2 for final selection.
