For Statistical Investigator Grade–II you should have a Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects. OR Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics (with Statistics as a papers studied in one year/two years/all three year as the case may be) as one of the main subjects. OR Bachelor’s Degree with Economics (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects. OR Bachelor’s Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.
For Compiler you require a Bachelor’s degree with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or elective subject from any recognized University.
All other Posts to be filled through Combined Graduate Level Exam you should have atleast a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation Degree) or equivalent from a recognized University.

For the posts of Central Excise Inspector, Inspector (Preventive Officer) and Inspector (Examiner) you should possess the following physical standards.
Height 157.5 cms. Chest 81 cms. (fully expanded with a minimum expanses of 5 cms). However Height is relaxable by 5 cms. In the case of Garwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, Tribals, members of Kumaon Region, Nagas and Scheduled Tribes who as a race are short in height and not to the people declared as Scheduled Tribe.
You have to clear the Physical Test by walking: 1600 metres in 15 minutes and cycling : 8 Kms. in 30 minutes.
In Case you are a female candidate you should possess the following physical standards.
Height 152.5 cms. Weight 48 Kg. However height is relaxable by 2.5 cms. Weight by 2 Kgs. for Gorkhas, Garwalis, Assamese, Kumaon Region and Nagaland Tribals and Members of Scheduled Tribes who as a race are short in height and not to the people declared as Scheduled Tribe.
You have to clear the Physical Test by walking: 1 Km. in 20 minutes and cycling : 3 Kms. in 25 minutes.
For the posts of Sub-Inspectors in C.B.I.
you should have a Height of at least 165 cms.(For women - 150 cms)relaxable in case you are Hillsmen and Tribals by 5 cms.
Chest: 76 cms. with expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates)
c) Vision : Eye-sight (with or without glasses) Distant vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
Near vision: 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.
If you fulfill the above specified physical measurements (including vision Test) only then you will be eligible for the post of Sub Inspector in CBI.
