01. BSF Written Exam : Written Exam is divided into 02 important segment which is OMR based Objective Paper and description based Descriptive Type Paper. Details regarding both papers is mentioned below :

a. OMR based Objective Type paper :- Examination will be of 02 hours. There will be 02 marks for each right answer and 0.50 marks will be deducted as negative marking for each wrong answer. Question will be Multiple Choice containing 04 options from which 01 options is the right answer. Language of question paper will be in both mode i.e English and Hindi. There will be 100 ques. of 200 marks. There will be 04 papers of English & G.K., Chemistry, Maths, Physics.

-Total Ques. :- 100 ques.

-Total Marks :- 200 marks (02 marks each)

– Negative Marking :- 0.50 marks

-Total Paper :- 04 paper (50 marks each)

– Duration of Exam :- 02 hours

Syllabus for BSF OMR Exam :- As there are 04 papers namely Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and G.K. So the the bifurcation of syllabus subject wise is mentioned as under :

– Physical, Chemistry, Maths holds 10+2 (Intermediate of CBSE) level

– Rest paper holds General English, Current Affairs, History & Geography and General Science. The passing ratio or percentage is as follow :

a. General/OBC :- 38% marks

b. SC/ST :- 33% marks

b. Descriptive Test :- The participants who will be shortlisted in the OMR test will be caled for Descriptive test. Candidates will be provide seperate call letter to attend the BSF Descriptive Test as well as PST/PET.
