IB PA/JIO Exam Eligibility

For Personal Assistant Educational Qualification

Aspiring candidates should be 10+2 pass or equivalent with proficiency in stenography

1. Dictation: 10 minutes@ 100 words per minute.

2. Skill test on computer-transcription of shorthand, 40 minutes (English) and 55 minutes (Hindi)

Desirable:

Knowledge of computer operation, viz., Windows 2000/ 2003, MS Word, etc\

Age Limits

Aspiring candidate should be between 18 - 27 years as on the closing date of applications. The upper age limit is relax able by five years for SC/ST and three years for OBC candidates.

The upper age limit is also relax able up to 32 years of age for such government servants who have rendered minimum three years of regular & continuous service.

The age limit is also relax able for ex-servicemen as well as for candidates who were domiciled in J&K during 1.1.1980 to 31.12.1989 and children & dependents of victims of communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat as per Government instructions in this regard issued from time to time.

For JIO-II (Tech) Educational Qualification

Aspiring candidate should be Matriculation with two years Industrial Training Institute (ITI) passed certificate in Radio Technician or Communication or Computer or Electronics or Electrical.

Age Limit for JIO-II/Tech:

Aspiring candidate should be between 18-27 years as on the closing date for registration of applications.

The upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC/ST and three years for OBC candidates.

The upper age limit is also relaxable up to 40 years of age for such Departmental candidates who have rendered minimum three years of regular & continuous service.
